10,000 Maniacs je americká rocková skupina založená v roku 1981 v meste Jamestown. Pôvodnú päťčlennú zostavu neskôr posilnila speváčka Natalie Merchant, ktorá sa neskôr preslávila ako sólistka.
Živý album MTV Unplugged na farebnom dvojvinyle zachytáva akustický koncert pre hudobnú stanicu MTV z roku 1993. Nahrávka vyšla tesne po odchode Natalie Merchant, ktorá sa rozhodla venovať sólovej kariére, a stala sa tak jej posledným albumom so skupinou. Koncert zahŕňa šestnásť skladieb vrátane These Are Days, Because the Night a coveru Jolene. V roku 1993 skupina vystúpila aj na inaugurácii prezidenta Billa Clintona.
