Album Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! vyšiel v marci 2008 u vydavateľstva Mute Records. Ide o štrnásty štúdiový album skupiny, nahraný v londýnskych štúdiách The State of the Ark v lete 2007, produkovaný Nickom Launayom. Toto dvojdiskové vydanie obsahuje 44 skladieb — popri pôvodných jedenástich kompozíciách (Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!, We Call Upon the Author, More News From Nowhere) ponúka kompletný 5.1 surround mix celého albumu a bonusové tracky. Išlo o poslednú nahrávku s Mickom Harveyom, ktorý skupinu opustil v roku 2008.
Na albume sa podieľali Mick Harvey, Nick Cave, Thomas Wydler, Conway Savage, Martyn P. Casey, Jim Sclavunos, Warren Ellis, James Johnston a Anita Lane.
