Legendární britský zpěvák, bubeník, skladatel a producent, který se proslavil jako člen skupiny Genesis i jako úspěšný sólový umělec. Počátky jeho kariéry jsou spjaty s kapelou Flaming Youth, ale zásadní zlom nastal v roce 1970, kdy se stal bubeníkem Genesis a později, po odchodu Petera Gabriela, i jejím hlavním zpěvákem. Collinsova sólová dráha odstartovala v 80. letech a přinesla mu celosvětovou slávu díky hitům jako „In the Air Tonight“, „Another Day in Paradise“ nebo „You'll Be In My Heart“. Je držitelem mnoha prestižních ocenění včetně Grammy, Oscara a Zlatého glóbu, prodal přes 100 milionů desek a jeho emotivní písně o lásce, ztrátě i společenských tématech oslovily několik generací posluchačů. Collins je považován za jednu z nejvýraznějších osobností popu a rocku posledních dekád, jehož hudební i herecký talent zanechal nesmazatelnou stopu v historii moderní hudby.
