The Cure je britská alternatívno-rocková skupina založená v Crawley v roku 1976. Pod vedením frontmana Roberta Smitha sa kapela etablovala v post-punkovom a new wave hnutí konca sedemdesiatych rokov a počas osemdesiatych rokov spoluvytvárala gothic rock.
Album Mixes Of A Lost World (Deluxe) vyšiel na vydavateľstve Polydor ako trojdiskový remixový set na CD. Prináša prepracované verzie skladieb z repertoáru skupiny v podaní popredných elektronických umelcov a producentov — medzi nimi Paul Oakenfold, Orbital, Four Tet, Mura Masa, Trentemøller, Mogwai a ďalší. Projekt spája signatúru The Cure so širokou paletou štýlov od trip hopu cez house až po techno.
