Dr. John (vlastným menom Malcolm John Rebennack Jr., 1941–2019) bol americký spevák, pianista a skladateľ, ktorého hudba kombinovala blues, jazz, funk, boogie woogie a rock and roll. Držiteľ šiestich cien Grammy a od roku 2011 člen Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, bol dedičným pokračovateľom bohatej novoorleánskej hudobnej tradície po boku Professora Longhaira.
Kompilácia Dr. John: The Montreux Years (Live) vyšla v roku 2023 u vydavateľstva BMG a zachytáva Rebennackove vystúpenia na slávnom festivale vo švajčiarskom Montreux od roku 1986 do roku 2012. Album obsahuje 14 skladieb nahraných v Casino Montreux, Auditorium Stravinski i Miles Davis Hall, medzi nimi medzinárodný hit Right Place, Wrong Time, tradičnú Stack-a-Lee či štandardy In a Sentimental Mood a Love for Sale.
