Dream Theater je americká progresívna metalová kapela založená v roku 1985 v Bostone. Patrí medzi priekopníkov technického progresívneho metalu s virtuóznou inštrumentáciou.
Archívne vydanie Lost Not Forgotten Archives: Making Of Falling Into Infinity (1997) zachytáva nahrávací proces piateho štúdiového albumu kapely. Obsahuje základné stopy (basic tracks), overdubby a skladby v rôznych fázach produkcie — od inštrumentálnych podkladov cez vokály až po finálne aranžmán. Materiál dokumentuje prácu na skladbách New Millenium, Peruvian Skies, Hollow Years, Lines In the Sand a ďalších. Súčasťou sú aj nerealizované verzie a štúdiová improvizácia. Limitovaná edícia vychádza na farebnom vinyle (2 LP) a CD.
