Dream Theater je americká progresívna metalová kapela, ktorá vznikla v roku 1985 v Bostone v štáte Massachusetts. Kapelu tvoria John Petrucci (gitara), John Myung (basgitara), James LaBrie (spev) a Jordan Rudess (klávesy).
