Freedom Call je nemecká power metalová kapela založená v roku 1998. Počas svojej kariéry vydala celkovo štrnásť albumov, z toho jedenásť štúdiových, a pravidelne koncertuje po celom svete.
The M.E.T.A.L. Fest je koncertný záznam na Blu-ray vydaný v roku 2023 vydavateľstvom Steamhammer. Obsahuje 17 skladieb zaznamenaných naživo počas turné Metal Empire Tour 2023. Záznam prináša ako klasické hity ako Freedom Call alebo Warriors, tak aj novšie piesne vrátane titulnej M.E.T.A.L. a Metal is for Everyone. Celková stopáž predstaví viac než 70 minút energického power metalu v plnej koncertnej atmosfére.
V čase nahrávania tvorili Freedom Call Chris Bay (spev a gitara), Dan Zimmermann (bicie), Nils Neumann (basová gitara), Armin Donderer (gitara) a Lars Rettkowitz (klávesy) – päťčlenná zostava, ktorá kapelu sprevádza na súčasných turné.
