Grateful Dead bola americká rocková skupina založená v roku 1965 v Kalifornii, preslávená eklektickým štýlom spájajúcim prvky rocku, folku, country, jazzu, bluegrassu, blues, gospelu a psychedelie. Známa bola predovšetkým dlhými improvizáciami na koncertoch a oddanou fanúšikovskou základňou zvanou Deadheads. V roku 2007 skupina získala Grammy za celoživotný prínos.
Album Boston Garden, Boston, Ma 5/7/77 (RSD 2023) na vinyle zachytáva koncert zo 7. mája 1977 v bostonskej Boston Garden. Ide o limitované vydanie pre Record Store Day 2023, ktorého účelom je podporiť tradičné kamenné hudobné predajne.
