Steve Hackett je britský gitarista a skladateľ, ktorý sa preslávil ako člen progresívno-rockovej skupiny Genesis v rokoch 1971–1977, s ktorou nahral šesť štúdiových albumov. Od roku 2010 je členom Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jeho sólová tvorba sa rozprestiera od progresívneho rocku cez blues a jazz až ku klasickej hudbe.
Živý album Selling England by the Pound & Spectral Mornings: Live at Hammersmith vyšiel v roku 2020 na vydavateľstve Inside Out Music a prináša na troch CD koncertný záznam so 42 skladbami z londýnskeho vystúpenia. Hackett tu v plnej dĺžke predstavuje ikonický album Genesis Selling England by the Pound (1973) aj svoj sólový album Spectral Mornings (1979). Medzi zvýraznenými nahrávkami nájdeme Firth of Fifth, The Cinema Show, I Know What I Like či titulné Spectral Mornings. Kompletný živý set zachytáva Hackettovu majstrovskú gitarovú hru aj jedinečný prístup k repertoáru, ktorý spája odkaz Genesis so sólovým dielom.
