Jerry Harrison je americký hudobník, známy ako člen The Modern Lovers a neskôr klávesista a gitarista Talking Heads. V roku 2002 bol uvedený do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Red and the Black vyšiel v roku 1981 ako Harrisonov prvý sólový album, na ktorom sa podieľali napríklad Bernie Worrell a Adrian Belew. Táto rozšírená vinylová edícia Record Store Day 2023 prináša nahrávku na dvoch farebných LP (červená a čierna) a obsahuje pôvodných deväť skladieb doplnených o sedem inštrumentálnych verzií. Medzi skladby patria Things Fall Apart, Fast Karma/No Questions či The Red Nights.
