Kadavar je berlínska rocková kapela, ktorej retro zvuk kombinuje stoner rock, psychedeliu a ťažký rock v duchu sedemdesiatych rokov. Trio založili v roku 2010 gitarista a spevák Christoph „Lupus“ Lindemann a bubeník Christoph „Tiger“ Bartelt.
Album For the Dead Travel Fast vyšiel v roku 2019 na vydavateľstve Nuclear Blast ako audiovizuálny set v digipacku — Blu-ray disc s koncertnými záznamami a bonusovými materiálmi dopĺňa CD s 23 nahrávkami. Medzi skladbami nájdete The Devil's Master, Children of the Night, Dancing With the Dead či sedemminútovú Long Forgotten Song. Balenie zachytáva temnú atmosféru a okultnú tematiku, ktoré sú pre skupinu charakteristické.
V čase vydania albumu skupinu Kadavar tvorili Christoph Lindemann (gitara, spev), Christoph Bartelt (bicie) a Simon Bouteloup (basgitara).
