Kreator je nemecká thrashmetalová kapela založená v roku 1982 v Essene, ktorá spolu s kapelami Destruction a Sodom tvorí veľkú trojku nemeckého thrash metalu. Celosvetovo predali viac ako dva milióny platní.
Kompilácia Under the Guillotine z roku 2021 zhromažďuje 18 skladieb z klasického obdobia, keď skupina nahrávala pre Noise Records. Vedľa kultových skladieb ako Extreme Aggression, Pleasure to Kill alebo Flag of Hate obsahuje rarity, živé nahrávky a remixy skladieb Terrible Certainty, Renewal či Europe After the Rain. Vydanie na dvojvinyle dokumentuje éru, keď Kreator patril medzi priekopníkov extrémnych podžánrov metalu.
V roku 2021 tvorili kapelu Mille Petrozza, Sami Yli-Sirniö na elektrickej gitare a Frédéric Leclercq na basgitare.
