Metallica je americká thrash metalová kapela založená v roku 1981 v Los Angeles. Patrí k najúspešnejším metalovým skupinám sveta, nositeľka deviatich cien Grammy.
The Metallica Blacklist je tributná kompilácia vydaná v roku 2021 u vydavateľstva Blackened k 30. výročiu ikonického albumu z roku 1991. Obsahuje 53 nahrávok od rôznych interpretov, ktorí stvárnili všetky skladby z „čierneho albumu“ — väčšina z nich má viacero verzií. Covery predstavujú umelcov naprieč žánrami, od rocku cez elektroniku až po alternatívu. Album vyšiel 10. septembra digitálne a 1. októbra na vinyloch. Na zberateľskom štvordisku nájdete okrem iného rôzne verzie skladieb Enter Sandman, Sad but True, The Unforgiven a Holier Than Thou.
