Molly Hatchet je americká southern rocková skupina založená roku 1971 vo floridskom Jacksonville gitaristom Daveom Hlubekem. Na konci 70. a začiatku 80. rokov dosiahla kapela veľký komerčný úspech a zaradila sa medzi prominentných predstaviteľov southern rocku a hard rocku.
Kompilačný box Original Album Classics vyšiel v roku 2016 vo vydavateľstve Epic a zahŕňa celkovo 51 nahrávok na piatich CD. Kolekcia prináša klasické štúdiové albumy z obdobia 1978–1980, medzi nimi aj platinové tituly Molly Hatchet, Flirtin' with Disaster a Beatin' the Odds. Okrem štúdiových verzií sú zastúpené aj živé nahrávky známych hitov ako Flirtin' With Disaster či One Man's Pleasure a demo skladba Silver and Sorrow. Ide o prehliadku skupiny v jej najúspešnejšom období, keď vďaka hitom Flirtin' with Disaster, The Rambler alebo Bloody Reunion obsadzovala americké rebríčky Billboard.
V čase vydania tejto kompilácie tvorili kapelu Bobby Ingram, Phil McCormack (spev), Shawn Beamer (bicie), Tim Lindsey (basgitara, sprievodné vokály) a Bryan Bassett.
