Billy Preston bol americký klavirista a klávesista, ktorého tvorba zahŕňala R&B, soul, funk, rock aj gospel. V šesťdesiatych rokoch spolupracoval s The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Rayom Charlesom alebo Samom Cookom a neskôr sa presadil ako sólový interpret s hitmi ako „Space Race“, „Will It Go Round in Circles“ či „Nothing from Nothing“.
