Britsko-americká rocková skupina Pretenders vznikla v marci 1978 v anglickom Hereforde. Zakladateľkou a hlavnou skladateľkou je speváčka a gitaristka Chrissie Hynde.
Album Live! At the Paradise Theater, Boston, 1980 zachytáva koncert skupiny z raného obdobia, keď kapela práve získavala popularitu. Živá nahrávka vyšla na LP v roku 2016 u vydavateľstva Real Records, a to ako súčasť Record Store Day v limitovanej sérii 6 500 kusov. Na vinyle je celkom 11 skladieb vrátane Space Invader, Mystery Achievement či Stop Your Sobbing.
V dobe vydania albumu tvorili skupinu Chrissie Hynde (gitara, hlavný spev), James Walbourne, Carwyn Ellis a Nick Wilkinson.
