Gerry Rafferty bol škótsky spevák a skladateľ, známy pre svoje sólové hity Baker Street, Right Down the Line a Night Owl. Bol tiež zakladajúcim členom skupiny Stealers Wheel, ktorej najväčší hit Stuck in the Middle with You vyšiel v roku 1973.
Album Night Owl je jeho tretia štúdiová platňa, ktorá vyšla v roku 1979. Táto vinylová reedícia prináša remasterované verzie všetkých desiatich skladieb z originálu.
