Riot V je americká heavy metalová skupina založená v New Yorku v roku 1975 gitaristom Markom Realom. Kapela dosiahla najväčší úspech začiatkom 80. rokov a od albumu Thundersteel (1988) sa jej štýl posunul smerom k power metalu.
Trojalbum Live in Japan 2018 vyšiel v roku 2019 na vydavateľstve AFM Records a dokumentuje koncertné vystúpenie skupiny počas japonského turné. Sada na 3 CD obsahuje 46 nahrávok, ktoré pokrývajú rôzne obdobia tvorby kapely — od klasických skladieb ako „Thundersteel“, „Swords and Tequila“ alebo „Warrior“ až po novší materiál z albumov Armor of Light či Ride Hard Live Free. Nahrávka zachytáva energiu živých vystúpení a dynamiku heavy metalovej show pred japonským publikom.
Na albume sa podieľali spevák Todd Michael Hall a gitarista Nick Lee.
