Savatage je americká heavy metalová skupina založená v roku 1979 bratmi Jonom a Crissom Olivovými na Floride. Pod pôvodným menom Avatar vydali debut Sirens (1983), potom sa premenovali na Savatage.
EP The Dungeons Are Calling vyšlo pôvodne v roku 1984 na Par Records a predstavuje ranú fázu tvorby kapely. Reedícia z roku 2021 na LP prináša sedem skladieb vrátane titulnej The Dungeons Are Calling, By The Grace Of The Witch, Visions, Midas Knight, City Beneath The Surface, The Whip a bonusovú The Dungeons Are Calling (Outtake). Materiál zachytáva charakteristický agresívny heavy metal sound raných osemdesiatych rokov.
