James Horner bol americký skladateľ filmovej hudby, známy spájaním zborových a elektronických prvkov s častým využívaním keltskej hudby. Počas svojej kariéry získal dve ceny Oscar za soundtrack k filmu Titanic z roku 1997.
Soundtrack Avatar: Music From the Motion Picture z roku 2009 obsahuje orchestrálnu hudbu k filmu Jamesa Camerona Avatar. Vydalo ho vydavateľstvo Music on Vinyl na dvojvinyle s celkom 14 skladbami.
