Suede je britská kapela hrajúca alternatívny rock a britpop, založená v Londýne v roku 1989. Ich debutový album Suede (1993) sa dostal na vrchol hitparád, získal ocenenie Mercury Music Prize a pomohol definovať britpop ako žáner. Po rozpade kapely v roku 2003 nasledoval úspešný návrat v roku 2010.
The Blue Hour je ôsmy štúdiový album skupiny, vydaný 21. septembra 2018 u Warner Music UK. Album obsahuje 14 skladieb a debutoval na piatom mieste britských hitparád, čo je najlepšie umiestnenie kapely od albumu Head Music (1999). Producent Alan Moulder vytvoril atmosférickú zvukovú plochu s výraznými orchestrálnymi aranžmánmi, zborovým spevom a hovorenými pasážami. Medzi zvýraznené skladby patria Wastelands, Life Is Golden či Don't Be Afraid If Nobody Loves You. Kritika album prijala veľmi pozitívne a hodnotila ho ako vyvrcholenie modernej trilógie, ktorú kapela začala albumom Bloodsports (2013).
