Sweet je britská glam rocková skupina, ktorá patrila k najpopulárnejším interpretom 70. rokov 20. storočia po boku kapiel ako Slade, T. Rex či Queen. Klasickú zostavu tvorili spevák Brian Connolly, basgitarista Steve Priest, gitarista Andy Scott a bubeník Mick Tucker. Kapela celosvetovo predala vyše 35 miliónov albumov.
Kompilácia Greatest Hitz! The Best of Sweet 1969-1978 na 3 CD vyšla v roku 2022 u vydavateľstva BMG a zhromažďuje 52 skladieb z najúspešnejšej éry skupiny. Nájdete tu hity „Blockbuster“, ktorý dobyl čelo britského rebríčka, „Ballroom Blitz“, „Fox on the Run“ aj „Love Is Like Oxygen“. Výber pokrýva tak rannú spoluprácu s dvojicou skladateľov Nicky Chinn a Mike Chapman (1971–1974), ako aj neskoršie single až do roku 1978.
Súčasnú zostavu skupiny tvoria spevák Paul Manzi, gitarista Tom Cory a basgitarista Lee Small.
