Therion je švédska symphonic metalová kapela založená Christoferom Johnssonom v roku 1987. Pôvodne hrala death metal, postupne však vyvinula charakteristický štýl kombinujúci metalovú hudbu s orchestrálnymi prvkami, sólovými vokalistami a zbormi. Svojím prístupom patrí medzi priekopníkov žánru symphonic metal.
