Lou Reed (1942–2013) bol americký spevák, gitarista a skladateľ, jedna z najvýznamnejších postáv rockovej histórie. Ako zakladateľ The Velvet Underground redefinoval možnosti rockovej hudby, v sólovej kariére potom vytvoril množstvo kultových albumov na pomedzí rocku, art rocku a experimentu.
Kompilácia The Many Faces of Lou Reed vyšla v roku 2016 u vydavateľstva Music Brokers ako trojdiskový set na CD obsahujúci 38 skladieb. Ponúka výber nahrávok spojených s Reedovým odkazom, vrátane živých verzií klasík ako Heroin, I'm Waiting for the Man, Sweet Jane, Walk on the Wild Side či Satellite of Love. Set pokrýva tvorbu od éry The Velvet Underground po sólové míľniky a približuje bohatosť Reedovho umeleckého sveta.
