The White Stripes bola americká rocková dvojica z Detroitu, ktorú tvorili Jack White a Meg White. Skupina patrila medzi popredných predstaviteľov oživenia indie rocku a garage rocku v prvej dekáde nového tisícročia a ukončila svoju činnosť v roku 2011.
Album The Complete John Peel Sessions na 2CD vyšiel v roku 2016 vo vydavateľstve Third Man Records ako limitované vydanie exkluzívne pre londýnsky obchod Third Man. Kompilácia zhromažďuje kompletné nahrávky z legendárnych sessions pre BBC Radio 1 a Johna Peela, vznikajúcich v rokoch 2001–2005.
