Lester Young, prezývaný „Prez“, bol americký jazzový tenorsaxofonista a klarinetista. V roku 1933 sa stal členom skupiny Count Basieho, neskôr spolupracoval s Benom Websterom, Gerrym Mulliganom a ďalšími. Jeho brat Lee Young bol bubeník.
