Depeche Mode je anglická elektronická skupina založená v Basildone v roku 1980, jedna z najúspešnejších formácií new wave a syntetického popu. Ich inovatívny prístup k syntezátorom a samplingu ovplyvnil celú modernú elektronickú scénu a album Violator z roku 1990 je jedným zo základných kameňov elektronickej hudby. V roku 2020 bola skupina uvedená do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Playing the Angel | The 12″ Singles je unikátna limitovaná kolekcia vydaná v roku 2022 vydavateľstvom Mute na desiatich vinylových LP. Box set zhromažďuje 35 rozšírených verzií a remixov singlov z albumu Playing the Angel — od Sashy, Jacques Lu Conta, Tigy, M83, Holden, Tiefschwarz, Chab a ďalších producentov.
