Britská skupina Genesis patrí k zakladateľom progresívneho rocku. Zostavu tvorili klávesista Tony Banks, basgitarista a gitarista Mike Rutherford a do roku 1975 aj spevák Peter Gabriel. Kapela si vybudovala meno pôsobivými živými show s divadelnými kostýmami a komplexnými kompozíciami. V roku 2010 bola prijatá do Rock'n'rollovej Siene slávy.

Album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway vyšiel v novembri 1974 ako konceptuálny dvojalbum a stal sa posledným s Peterom Gabrielom v hlavnej úlohe. K päťdesiatemu výročiu vydania Genesis pripravili super deluxe edíciu na 5 diskoch — 4 CD + Blu-ray. Pôvodný štúdiový album bol novo zremasterovaný z pôvodných pások z roku 1974. Súčasťou reedície je kompletný koncertný záznam zo Shrine Auditorium v Los Angeles z januára 1975 a Blu-ray disk obsahujúci audio v hi-res 96 kHz/24-bit aj priestorový Dolby Atmos mix pripravený v Real World Studios za dozoru Petera Gabriela a Tonyho Banksa.
