Jethro Tull je britská rocková skupina, ktorej hudba od počiatku spája hard rock s prvkami starej britskej a keltskej ľudovej hudby, blues a európskej klasickej hudby. Charakteristická je flautovým prejavom Iana Andersona a zložitou kompozíciou skladieb.
Album Heavy Horses vyšiel 10. apríla 1978 u vydavateľstva Chrysalis a predstavuje jedenásty štúdiový album kapely. Je považovaný za druhú časť folkovej trilógie v ich tvorbe, hoci folkové vplyvy sa prelínajú mnohými ich albumami. Táto reedícia obsahuje 18 nahrávok vrátane pôvodných skladieb aj alternatívnych verzií. Medzi kľúčové skladby patria titulná Heavy Horses, Acres Wild či No Lullaby.
