The Pogues sú britská skupina, ktorá v osemdesiatych rokoch položila základy keltského punku. Hrajú zmes tradičnej írskej hudby a punku s využitím banja, tin whistle, akordeónu a ďalších tradičných nástrojov. Kapela sa preslávila najmä živými vystúpeniami v londýnskych puboch a kluboch.
Album Red Roses For Me vyšiel v roku 1984 ako debut skupiny. Toto výročné vydanie na 2 CD prináša popri originálnej nahrávke aj B-strany singlov a záznamy z legendárnych BBC Sessions pre Johna Peela a Davida 'Kid' Jensena z roku 1984. Prvé CD obsahuje klasické skladby ako Transmetropolitan, Streams Of Whiskey či Dark Streets Of London, druhý disk zas alternatívne verzie a živé nahrávky.
Pôvodnú zostavu tvorili Shane MacGowan (spev, gitara), Spider Stacy (tin whistle), Jem Finer (banjo), James Fearnley (akordeón), Cait O'Riordan (basgitara) a Andrew Ranken (bicie).
