Soundgarden bola americká rocková skupina, ktorá vznikla v Seattli v roku 1984 a patrila k zakladateľom grunge. Spolu s Nirvana, Alice in Chains a Pearl Jam tvorila tzv. veľkú štvorku seattleskej grungeovej scény. Skupina sa rozpadla v roku 1997 a znovu sa zišla v roku 2010.
Živý album Live From the Artists Den vyšiel v roku 2019 na dvojCD u vydavateľstva UMe v digipackovom obale. Nahrávka obsahuje 29 skladieb a ponúka reprezentatívny prierez tvorbou kapely — od klasík ako Spoonman, Black Hole Sun či Outshined až po novšie skladby z albumu King Animal. Album zachytáva koncert zo série Artists Den, ktorá spája významných umelcov s intímnym komorným prostredím. Soundgarden tu predviedli energické grungeové rytmy i heavy rockovú surovosť, ktoré z nich robili jednu z najdôležitejších kapiel 90. rokov.
V čase vydania albumu tvorili zostavu gitarista Kim Thayil, bubeník Matt Cameron a basgitarista Ben Shepherd.
