Third Bass bola americká hip-hopová skupina aktívna na prelome 80. a 90. rokov, ktorú tvorili MC Serch, Prime Minister Pete Nice a DJ Richie Rich. Patrila medzi prvé interrasové hip-hopové formácie, ktorým sa podarilo preniknúť do mainstreamu.
Album Derelicts of Dialect z roku 1991 na CD prináša 23 skladieb vrátane hitového singla Pop Goes the Weasel, ktorý skupine zabezpečil širokú popularitu. Platňa zachytáva klasický boom-bap štýl zlatej éry hip-hopu s ostrými textami a precíznou rytmikou. Okrem štúdiových nahrávok obsahuje remixovú verziu titulnej skladby i rozhlasovú úpravu hitu. Oba štúdiové albumy Third Bass získali zlatú certifikáciu RIAA.
