Tower of Power je americká funk a soul kapela s mohutnou dychovou sekciou, ktorá pochádza z kalifornského Oaklandu a vystupuje od roku 1968. Kapela mala niekoľkých frontmanov; najznámejším bol Lenny Williams, ktorý ju viedol v rokoch 1973–1974, v období ich najväčšieho komerčného úspechu. Skladby ako You're Still a Young Man, So Very Hard to Go, What Is Hip? a Don't Change Horses sa stali funkovou klasikou.
Original Album Series vydaný v roku 2013 vo vydavateľstve Warner Bros. Records ponúka päť kompletných albumov na piatich CD: Bump City (1972), Tower of Power (1973), Back to Oakland (1974), Urban Renewal (1975) a In the Slot (1975). Kompilácia zachytáva obdobie, keď sa kapela etablovala ako jedna z popredných funkových formácií sedemdesiatych rokov.
