Roger Waters je britský rockový hudobník, basgitarista, spevák a skladateľ, známy predovšetkým zo svojho pôsobenia v legendárnej skupine Pink Floyd (1965–1985). Ako hlavný skladateľ a textár kapely stál za klasickými dielami progressive rocku a po odchode z Pink Floyd začal úspešnú sólovú kariéru.
Dvojalbum In the Flesh (2000, Columbia) zachytáva živé vystúpenia z trojročného turné In the Flesh, ktoré prebiehalo v rokoch 1999–2002. Väčšina materiálu na 2 CD bola nahratá 27. júna 2000 v Rose Garden Arena v Portlande, Oregon. Album prináša 24 skladieb — výber z najslávnejších titulov Pink Floyd (Comfortably Numb, Time, Money, Shine On You Crazy Diamond), Watersovej sólovej tvorby (Amused to Death, The Bravery of Being Out of Range) a novú pieseň Each Small Candle. Dielo je vydané v štandardnom dvojitom priesvitnom jewel case s 24-stránkovým bookletom.
